Written and Directed by Dolores Rice, ‘FLICKER/F**CKER’ is an unflinching portrayal of artistic, physical, and sexual agency reclaimed. 

Set during rehearsals for a production of Annie Baker’s The Flick, character ‘HER’ reflects on her past; her artistic ambitions, her desires, her disappointments. She grieves what has been lost, and laments an industry which chooses extraction over creation. But emboldened by a fierce refusal to have her story written by anyone but herself, HER confronts this past and creates herself anew

Combining performance, dance and video, memory bleeds into the now asking us to consider what stories are confined to the shadows, and in so doing, whose peace we are keeping?

‘FLICKER/F**CKER’ is presented by The Draft in association with Ashore Productions, and is funded by the Arts Council/ An Chomhairle Ealaíon. It will premiere in Dublin, Ireland in March 2027.
